IKAR and Shalhevet High School have been working together throughout the year to develop the school’s greening efforts. On April 25th, IKAR and Shalhevet High School came together with Netiya to plant six fruit trees on the rooftop of their shared space. After learning from their rabbis on the importance of caring for our natural world, they prepared and potted the trees. With attendees ranging in age from toddlers to grandparents, it was a unique opportunity to work collectively on a project that mattered to all of them. They closed in song, and look forward to many fruitful years.
